Red Cross Digital Donation Bucket
This client owned a patent that provides for a way to swipe your credit card right in the church pew while the giving basket is passed around. His technology processes a payment (donation) faster than a person could produce a cash bill and place is there. This concept was viable for other charitable organizations and it wasn’t long before we were asked to design and build a retrofit of this technology into a form that could be easily attached (and locked) to the bucket and deployed in public. This trial run occurred at a popular college football game. Now the Red Cross (and others) can increase their donations many fold because the donations can be taken quickly and with a card.
The Outcome
Cash and coin giving and donating doesn't raise the proceeds it used to. In a digital era of currency churches and other giving based organizations must stay current with how people today transact money. This client owns the patent on the tech and we have tailored it for a variety of different industries and applications.
